چکیده

Single-relay selection techniques based on the max-min criterion can achieve highest bit error rate (BER) performance with full diversity gain as compared to state-of-the-art single-relay techniques. Therefore, in this work, we propose a modified by considering differences among close value channels of all relays while selecting best relay node. The proposed not only enjoys but also offers significant improvement achievable coding conventional one. Basically, article, an improved bi-directional three-phase technique using decode-and-forward protocol for wireless cooperative communication networks that enhances overall network terms BER is and its proved analytically through Monte-Carlo simulations. More specifically, first used select relay-node. After selected relay-node forwards information symbols communicating terminals after performing digital minimize power consumptions. In our simulations, show outperforms best-known single Furthermore, prove results obtained from conducted simulations perfectly match those theoretical analysis.

Relay Node Selection Algorithm for Cooperative Communications in Wireless Networks

IEEE 802.11a/b/g standards support multiple transmission rates. Even though the use of multiple transmission rates increase the WLAN capacity, this feature leads to the performance anomaly problem. Cooperative communication was introduced to relieve the performance anomaly problem. Data packets are delivered to the destination much faster through a relay node with high rate than through direct ...

Distributed and Cooperative Compressive Sensing Recovery Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks with Bi-directional Incremental Topology

Recently, the problem of compressive sensing (CS) has attracted lots of attention in the area of signal processing. So, much of the research in this field is being carried out in this issue. One of the applications where CS could be used is wireless sensor networks (WSNs). The structure of WSNs consists of many low power wireless sensors. This requires that any improved algorithm for this appli...

Performance Analysis of Wireless Cooperative Networks with Iterative Incremental Relay Selection

In this paper, an iterative incremental relay selection (IIRS) scheme is considered for wireless cooperative networks in order to increase the reliability of transmission. Different from the conventional incremental relay selection which incrementally selects a best relay for only one iteration; the IIRS scheme iteratively applies the incremental relaying and relay selection processes. To evalu...

Relay Selection Schemes for Cooperative Communications Systems Sensor Networks

Due to being so effective to mitigate the fading effect of wireless channels relay networks have received so much attention recently. Especially because relays are typically small, power limited and low cost and also can remove the problem of attenuation of signal due to propagation loss. Moreover increasing the number of relays improves the system performance and also using more power. The sys...

Cooperative communications with relay selection for wireless networks: design issues and applications

Relay selection schemes for cooperative communications to achieve full cooperative diversity gains while maintaining spectral and energy efficiency have been extensively studied in recent research. These schemes select only the best relay from multiple relaying candidates to cooperate with a communication link. In this paper, we review recently proposed cooperative communication protocols which...
